Seller’s Guide

How to Sell Your Property in Dubai

Selling well comes down to accurate pricing, strong presentation and a smooth transaction. Here is what to expect when you sell your property in Dubai.

Step 1: Get an Accurate Valuation

Your advisor will assess recent transactions, current listings and market demand to recommend a realistic asking price that attracts serious buyers.

Step 2: Appoint Your Broker

You sign a listing agreement, known as Form A, with a RERA-registered brokerage. This authorises the broker to market your property.

Step 3: Prepare and Market Your Property

Professional photography, video and a targeted marketing campaign present your property at its best to qualified buyers across the UAE and internationally.

Step 4: Negotiate and Sign the MOU

Once you accept an offer, you and the buyer sign the Memorandum of Understanding, Form F, and the buyer pays the agreed deposit.

Step 5: Clear Your Obligations and Transfer

You obtain the developer NOC, settle any outstanding service charges and, if mortgaged, arrange the bank clearance. The transfer is then completed at a registered trustee office.

Documents You Will Need

  • Title deed or Oqood (for off-plan)
  • Passport and Emirates ID
  • Signed Form A
  • Developer NOC
  • Mortgage liability letter (if applicable)
